Weekend Wrap Up

Happy Monday Ya'll!! Did everyone have a fabulous weekend? It was a perfect weekend for a wedding and moving; and our weekend was consumed with both. We traveled back
east for a family wedding, where my mom ventured into wedding photography for the first time. Then Sunday we moved my brother and (future) sister in-law out of their apartment.

Can we just stop for a minute and say where has this year gone? Wednesday is July 1st, WOW!!

Completely forgot about snapping a few outfit pictures from my wedding look, but I thought I'd share the few snaps I did manage to take. I loved the navy and peach combo I wore.

Denim Jacket

A denim jacket is probably one of my favorite things to wear. You can literally pair one with just about anything, the best timeless piece anyone can own. My favorite way to pair a denim jacket is with a dress. This strapless number is so comfy, but not appropriate for work on its own. Adding a denim jacket and leggings makes it a perfect, causal Friday look.

Summer Lovin'

Decor4all

This is the first summer since we moved into our new home and as of right now, I'm using an old beach chair as my current patio furniture {LOL}. Not a necessity when we first moved in, but now I'm dying for a patio makeover since summer is now in full swing. I would love to do something with bright colors and lots of texture to give the area some much needed life.
I've linked my idea board from Pinterest so you can see what ideas I'm bouncing around. If you guys have any ideas or tricks for patio decoration, I'd love to hear them.

Lilly Pulitzer Resort 2016

This week WWD release a sneak peak of the 2016 Resort Collection from the fabulous Lilly Pulitzer. This collection is giving me life; I mean, just look at these colorful prints! What else would you expect from Miss, Lilly? Sadly, I don't get a vacation this year, but next year, I'll make a point to head to the beach wearing several of these pieces; perfect sun and sand attire!

Summer Shades

I'm a girl who can't walk out the door without my lipstick on (true girly girl!). I'm a firm believer that lipstick is the perfect accessory to amp up any look or give you that much needed pop of color.  And this time of the year is perfect for all those bold, bright and loud shades most people shy away from, but not me! I love a everything from a bright, hot pink lip to the classic red.  I was looking through my collection of lipsticks and these six jumped out and instantly make me think summer! Every one of them are fresh looking on the lips and could make anyone wanna kiss you! {Hehehe}

Currently Obsessing....

Lately, I have been completely obsessed with tassels! I accessorize almost daily with piece of jewelry, scarf or handbag, well anything that has a tassel on it.  (Really, I'm clearly obsessed!)  I can't get enough of this fun, bright and flirty style this trend adds to my look. I'm finding there are tons of options perfect for my casual daily look and even styles that offer spunk to a dressy look.

More Stripes Please

Happy Monday Ya'll! 

This Saturday was a day for the records books! Not only did American Pharoah break the 37 year drought and snag the coveted triple crown, but Nathan and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary. Our anniversary was earlier in the week, but we were finally able to celebrate this weekend. I was treated to a lovely dinner at Malone's. I probably ate my weight in sushi!

This was my dinner look. I paired a striped peplum with this gorgeous, textured midi that I have been dying to wear from Bluetique.

Stripes and Hats

As much as I love dressing up, I love a great basic look that's comfy and easy to wear. You should always be looking your best no matter what your day entails. A fitted tee is a great way to feel put together, while being comfortable. They are perfect to dress up or wear down with jeans and a fun shoe. And I can't get enough of this hat from Bluetique; now that's it summer, I know I'll be wearing this with more of my laid back looks.

May Must Haves

I can't believe the month of May has come and gone! May is one of my favorites times of the year not only because it's my birth month, but it so beautiful this time of year and the weather is perfect. I was reflecting back on the past month and thought about all the things I fell in love with or something I rediscovered that I just can't get enough of.
I had to share my "May Must Haves" with you guys!

Starbucks S'mores Frap--- So obsessed with this new drink; it taste like summer in a cup. I crave one daily.

Hoops-- I used to wear hoops when I was in high school and now I've fallen back in love with them.

Clarisonic Luxe Brush Head--This is a total luxury item, perfect to spoil your skin with. The sale associate who sold it to me said it perfectly "It's like heaven for your skin"

Jean Jacket-- Rediscovered my jean jacket that I've had for over 10 years. I'm pairing it with everything these days.

Cucumber/Lime Detox Water-- I posted about these detox waters almost a month ago. I have been loving this combo and it actually works! I've had minimal to no headaches and I'm a little thinned up as well! Win, Win!!

Pinky/Nude lips--I've been a loyal red lipstick lover for years, but I'm really taming it down these days with the pinky/nude lip. LOVE IT!

Colour Pop Cosmetics-- Continuing my pinky/nude obsession, thanks to this brand! I've fallen in love with all their products; so affordable for only $5 per lippie stick (how cute is that name!). I'm thinking about doing a mini review of everything I have so far. What do you guys think?

Happily Ever After

Happily married for 3 years today! Where has the time gone? It feels like we just met and started dating. I can truly say I married the man of my dreams. He is so perfect for me in every way even though we are so different.  We've celebrated so many things over the years and have so many reason to be blessed. I wanted to share with everyone some of my favorite moments of our relationship from the past couple years.

Bright and Bold

This weekend was beautiful! Nathan and I spend Saturday with family and friends eating great food and playing board games. I love having game nights!

This is one of my favorite tops; its so bright and bold! Its free flowing and perfect for summer. I'm also obsessed with my new Kate Spade bag, so happy I picked this baby up during the Surprise Sale!
