Free Stuff

All of us love free stuff! I would rather pay nothing for something than even a dollar ( I have become very cheap the older I get). There are several websites that I use, some even daily to score free stuff! Some sites you do have to do some participating in, like completing surveys or posting your opinion on social media platforms, but others you can just request a sample to be mailed to your home.

Things I've gotten in the past:
This is just a small amount pictured compare to what I have actually received.  Most things shown are what I had to promote on social media platforms, but if you're like me you don't mind promoting to receive anything free! And a lot of the products I received are all full-sized!

Websites I use:
Influenster- Qualify for "Voxboxes" top receives free products to promote
BzzAgent- Complete surveys to be matched with products to review
Smiley360-Complete surveys to be matched with products to review
Pinchme- Monthly free samples
Allyou- Daily free samples
Kroger- Free product every Friday that you can load to Kroger card

I also use coupons to get things free as well!

What websites, tips or tricks do you guys use to score free goodies?

6 Must Have Brushes

Packing for vacation can be hard when you have tons of makeup products and brushes to go along with it. So, this morning as I was getting things together, I thought to myself, "what are the brushes I can't live without on vacation?"
Of course, they are all Sigma brushes. I speak very highly of my Sigma brushes, I've had most of mine for over two years and haven't had any problems. They are very reasonable for price, but the quality is amazing. I suggest you check them out if you are in the market for a nice set of makeup brushes that will last you a very long time.

F30-Large Powder -- This brush is has the 18K gold ferrule, because it came from the Extranganza collection. They make the same brush in the standard ferrule as well. Back to the brush, this is perfect for powder application all over the face, I feel like it only allows me to pick up the perfect amount of powder. The bristles are so soft.

F86 Tapered Kabuki-- I can't do my under eye concealer without this brush! Its not made for concealer, but thats what I use it for. It picks up the extra concealer on the eye and leaves a nice air brushed finish when you press it into the skin.

F80 Flat Kabuki-- Best brush hands down for foundation! Everyone should know this by now anyway, if you have heard Jaclyn Hill talk about this brush. She has raved about this brush for years and for good reason. Its great for buffing foundation into the skin, it doesn't streak or leave lines. PERFECTION!

E40 Tapered Blending-- You have to have a blending brush when working with more than one eye shadow. This brush is perfect for blending out any harsh lines you may have in your crease. I actually have more than once of these, they are that good!

E55 Eye Shading-- This one is great for packing on color all over the lid, then you can take your blending brush to buff everything out for a nice finished, air brushed look. I believe this is a staple brush for any beginner to have.

E30 Pencil-- One of my favorite of favorites, I use it for so many things, the Pencil brush. I go in with a highlight shade for my inner corners, I smoke out my under eyes with this and I darken up my outter "V" with this same brush. Every beginner also needs a pencil brush!

Of course, I took more than these 6 on vacation with me. :) But these are the ones that I just can't live without.

Happy travels everyone.

First Aid Shot Therapy Review

When I received this product in the mail to try out, needless to say I was very skeptical. Really a shot that claims to resolve headaches and even migraines. This is a joke right?

This product also claims to be useful for sore, achy muscles, back pain and a fever reducer, anything a aspirin can do, this can to do 5X faster!

I get severe headaches and migraines often, I even have to take prescribed medication daily to prevent attacks. Obviously this is not the product for me, but I gave it a shot anyway. I'll try anything once if placed in front of me and if it's free!

I decided to take the shot when I had a severe headache instead of a migraine (I didn't think it would help with my horrible migraines). The bottle claims that this product will get into blood stream up to 5X faster than an aspirin. I was expecting a horrible taste, but I was surprised. I mean it wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either, I received the berry flavor; it reminded me a lot of the flavored water brand Propel, but with a slightly bitter taste.
It took about 5 minutes before I could tell a difference in my headache, it actually dulled it to a tolerable state, but it wasn't completely gone. Again, I do have to stress that I do get severe headaches and migraines and most over the counter medication doesn't do the trick anymore. So for it to dull the headache, I think that's pretty impressive.

Overall, I think this is a very interesting product, but I think its better geared for someone who may get less frequent or severe headaches, this would probably be great for them. Or if your someone who doesn't like taking pills, or just have a hard time swallowing pills, this is a great alternative for you.

Check out F.A.S.T website, they have a upset stomach version as well. I can't give you my option on that one, but I think that is pretty interesting as well.

*I received this product complimentary from Influenster for review purposes.

Benefit Gimme Brow Review

Like many of us "girls on the go" we don't have the time to sit and sculpt out our brows into the perfect shape and fill in every missing spot. So, I have been looking for a product to speed up the process, while still trying to achieve a good looking brow.
Ladies, I give you Benefit's Gimme Brow. This is the perfect product for us ladies who don't have the time or don't want to spend the time dealing with our brows in the morning, but still want a put together look.
This product is a brow-volumizing fiber gel. The fiber gel adheres to the skin and hairs for a fuller looking brow. I think it gives off a very natural looking appearance, to me the fibers actually looks likes hairs.

Gimme Brow claims to be water resistant, long wearing and build able; I do agree with everything it claims, however I wouldn't build up the product too much, I think then it starts to look unnatural.  A little does go a long way.
The top picture is before I filled in my brow and the bottom picture is with the Gimme Brow used. As you can see, it looks very natural and this was with only one coat of application. I used the color light/medium (this product only comes in two shade options). I love how tiny the brush is, so you can really get into your hairs and shape your brow; it allows you to have a lot of control with application.

Bottom line, I really have been enjoying this product, its so much easier to use than a pencil and much quicker! I suggest you try this out if you have been looking for the next best thing in brow products.
