Top 10 High End Beauty Products

I'm such a makeup junkie, anything new I always have to try out. I'm a huge fan of drugstore makeup. Not only is it affordable, but the quality is only getting better and better. If you missed my top 10 drugstore list, check that out here. However, high end makeup still has my heart. There are somethings that I just can't live without and will spend the few extra dollars to make sure they're always in my collection.

Here is my top 10 list of high end beauty products.

10. Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask- This stuff is addicting. If you love chap stick, then you'll fall head over heels for this stuff. I use this every night before bed and my lips are always super soft in the morning. I reviewed this products forever ago, check out my thoughts.

9. The Balm Blushes- all their blushes are great, but the INSTAIN collection is spot on. Perfect pigmentation and the staying power is crazy!

8. Anastasia Brow Wiz- now I know it may seem crazy to spend money on a brow pencil, but nothing compares to this. This is the most natural pencil I have used, and it stays on all day long.

7. Mac Lipsticks- lip products are one of my many weakness, but Mac lipsticks are my favorite. I seem to have quite the large collection of this brand. I've not met a color or finish I wasn't in love with.

6. Sigma Brushes- how do I apply my makeup you ask, with these brushes. Very affordable and the quality is amazing. No shedding, easy to clean and so easy to work with. Perfect application every time.

5. Anastasia Clear Brow Gel- Again, Anastasia knows her stuff when it comes to brows. This gel is like glue, your brows won't budge with this stuff.

4. Urban Decay De-Slick Setting Spray- I can't finish my makeup with out his product. It locks everything in place and keeps me matte and fresh looking throughout the day. I swear by this product.

3. Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors- the best highlighters ever made! If I could own all of them would. Intense highlights ranging in shades to suit every skin tone, leaving you looking dewy and fresh. These are great to amp up any look.

2. Mac Pro Longwear Concealer- this concealer has to be a gift from the heavens, haha. Covers all dark circles, never settles into fine lines or creases. This is a must for me when applying makeup.

1. Purity Face Wash- I believe a great makeup application starts with a clean face. This face wash cleans so well, I never have to worry about left behind residue or dirt. When I switch to another wash, I always come back to this. I can see a big difference in my skin when I use this constantly. Highly recommended this to everyone.

I hope you guys enjoyed my list, if you try out anything I mentioned above be sure to comment below and let me know how it works for you!

6 Must Have Brushes

Packing for vacation can be hard when you have tons of makeup products and brushes to go along with it. So, this morning as I was getting things together, I thought to myself, "what are the brushes I can't live without on vacation?"
Of course, they are all Sigma brushes. I speak very highly of my Sigma brushes, I've had most of mine for over two years and haven't had any problems. They are very reasonable for price, but the quality is amazing. I suggest you check them out if you are in the market for a nice set of makeup brushes that will last you a very long time.

F30-Large Powder -- This brush is has the 18K gold ferrule, because it came from the Extranganza collection. They make the same brush in the standard ferrule as well. Back to the brush, this is perfect for powder application all over the face, I feel like it only allows me to pick up the perfect amount of powder. The bristles are so soft.

F86 Tapered Kabuki-- I can't do my under eye concealer without this brush! Its not made for concealer, but thats what I use it for. It picks up the extra concealer on the eye and leaves a nice air brushed finish when you press it into the skin.

F80 Flat Kabuki-- Best brush hands down for foundation! Everyone should know this by now anyway, if you have heard Jaclyn Hill talk about this brush. She has raved about this brush for years and for good reason. Its great for buffing foundation into the skin, it doesn't streak or leave lines. PERFECTION!

E40 Tapered Blending-- You have to have a blending brush when working with more than one eye shadow. This brush is perfect for blending out any harsh lines you may have in your crease. I actually have more than once of these, they are that good!

E55 Eye Shading-- This one is great for packing on color all over the lid, then you can take your blending brush to buff everything out for a nice finished, air brushed look. I believe this is a staple brush for any beginner to have.

E30 Pencil-- One of my favorite of favorites, I use it for so many things, the Pencil brush. I go in with a highlight shade for my inner corners, I smoke out my under eyes with this and I darken up my outter "V" with this same brush. Every beginner also needs a pencil brush!

Of course, I took more than these 6 on vacation with me. :) But these are the ones that I just can't live without.

Happy travels everyone.

April Beauty Favorites!

I've been loving so many great products this past month I just had to share them with you guys! If you've tried any of these products I would love to know what you thought and if they worked for you!

L'Oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector Line ($20-$25 each)
I can't say enough good things about this whole line. I started using the Pore Vanisher first and I have noticed my pores have gotten smaller (I've been using this for about 2 months). It's very similar to Benefits Porefessional, in color and feel. You apply the Pore Vanisher under your foundation to act as a primer. Then I fell in love with the serum and the night cream- I use these mainly at night, even though the cream is day or night; I probably will never use anything else again. First off they have a a pink hue to them (how cute is that!! I know, I'm ridiculous!) you apply the serum first, then go in with the night cream. They work wonders together; for a drugstore skincare line they are super luxurious feeling, thick and creamy and I have really noticed a huge difference in the appearance of my skin since using these products. I highly recommend these if your dealing with some texture, pore or line issues! Start taking care of your skin at a young age ladies and no one will ever know your real age!

Real Technics Beauty Blender($6)
Don't wanna pay $20 for the original Beauty Blender? Get this bad boy! It's only $6!!! It's does the same thing as a B.B. but for a fraction of the cost. I love a B.B. for the spring/summer because it sheers out my foundations making it feel weightless, it also give a very natural appearance to your makeup. For makeup beginners, this is also so super easy to apply liquids! You don't have to worry about streaks or not blending anything out!

MAC lipstick in "Cream Cup"($15)
I have never been into nude lipsticks, but this is a stunning pinky nude. I've been reaching for it a lot over the last month; it goes with any look, a smoky eye, natural makeup. This lipstick is a creamsheen formula, so it is not drying on the lips! My favorite formula from MAC. This would compliment so many skin tones.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in "Opal"($38)
OMG! This is perfection, the prettiest highlight shade I own. I just can't get enough of it. It's a golden highlight so it gives a great dewy glow to the cheekbones, but very light handed with it. A little goes a long way! You don't wanna go around looking like a disco ball (or if you do, than do your thang!) this is also a great dupe for MACs "Whisper of Gilt" which is limited addition.

Milani baked blush in "Luminoso"($8)
There is absolutely no reason why no one should not own this blush! It's only $8 and it's amazing! If you know anything about Milani products than you know they are raved about for their blushes and this one is always mentioned first. Go out, get it now and then you know what I'm talking about. Its a beautiful peachy, coral shade with little flicks of gold running through it, so it will really give a great glow to the cheeks! It will suit a variety of skin tones.  Perfect for spring and summer!

Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask($26)
If you read my last blog post, then you knew I had to shout this guy out. I'm still loving this luxurious lip treatment. I've never dealt with chapped lips before, but when I wear matte lipsticks, it would cause my lipsticks to sort of crack throughout the day. Since I have been applying this nightly, I have not had that problem. If you are familiar with the retro matte formals from MAC then you know exactly what I'm talking about! Now, I don't even worry with reapplying any lip balm through the day!

Again, I'd love to know of you've tried out any of my April favorites.

Bite Beauty- Agave Lip Mask Review

Everybody and their mother has been talking about this lip mask recently, I've seen all over YouTube, read several blogs where it's mentioned and raved about, but I just couldn't bring myself to purchase this $26 lip product! I'm a sucker for any lip balm that supposed to improve the quality of your lips, prevent chapping or cracking. Well, I finally caved, I watched my last YouTuber rave about it for last time! I just had to find out what all the fuss was about!

I think the "lip mask" name gives off the wrong impression about this product, I instantly thought to apply, leave it on for a few minutes then wipe off, but this is more of a intense lip treatment; its a luxurious creamy, thick balm that you leave on and it sinks into your lips leaving them so moisturized and so hydrated!
The back of the box states "instantly soothe and soften lips with this delicious leave-on lip mask made with organic agave and vanilla co2 extract."

What it is:
A soothing, leave-on lip mask that replenishes moisture in the lips

What it does:
This innovative, natural formal smooths, nourishes, and moisturizes lips with a bio-active blend of organic agave nectar, jojoba oil, vanilla CO2 extract and triple the amount of antioxidant trans-resveratrol found in red wine.

What else you need to know:
This product does not contain gluten or petroleum.

*Sephora's website currently rates this product as a 4.4 out of 5.

I've been putting this on at night before I go to bed and I wake up and my lips are still  hydrated and slightly fuller (I don't think this product has any plumping capabilities, but my lips fill fuller!) I've been wearing this nightly for about 5 days now and I've noticed the little lines in my lips are starting to fade and my lipstick is going on much smoother & staying on longer! What I love most about this is that its not greasy feeling like most lip balms, its very think and luxurious feeling on the lips; and in my option it should be for $26! I'm really enjoying this lip mask and I recommend this to anyone with dry or chapped lips. This is not like any other lip balm product on the market.

If you try out the lip mask, I'd love to know how it worked out for you and your thoughts!
