Mask of Magnaminty

Can you believe that its already the last day of May! This year is going by way too fast if you ask me.
Since the month of May is just about over, I wanted to share a product that I have been loving and using non stop for the last 2 months.

I've never really had problems with acne or break outs, but since giving birth to my first child in February, I have been struggling with dry, rough skin with a few breakouts. Its like my skin completely changed over night and my clear, texture free skin has traded for, at times, what feels like alligator skin! YIKES!! Before and during my pregnancy, I continued with my normal skin care routine; using masks, cleansers, toners and creams. Since then, I've had to switch things up and change out all my favorites and basically started from scratch to find something that would tame all the issues I suddenly started to have.
One product I am beyond thankful I can across was the Lush, Mask of Magnaminty. And yes, I know I am very late to the game with this one, but now this will definitely be a staple under my sink from now on.
The mask is not only for the face, but the back & body! This minty scented mask has China clay and fresh peppermint that reaches deep into the skin and sucks out any gunk in the pores, leaving the skin so refreshing with a tingly, clean sensation! My favorite part is washing the mask off, it then acts like a exfoliator due to the aduki beans to help even out texture, getting rid of any dead, dry, flaky skin. The website states "this is the ‘ultimate face mask’, intense but not harsh or abrasive on the skin", and that's exactly what it is!
I will probably explore more Lush products in the future. I love that everything is hand made, fresh with organic fruits and veggies and no products are ever tested on animals!

I definitely recommend this mask to anyone having some serious skin issues. It has really calmed my skin down and has now made its way into my heart forever! LOL

Surprise Kate Spade Sale

Attention, attention everyone! Kate Spade is having a surprise sale and everything is up to 75% off now through tomorrow. I just couldn't help, but share the good news! Now's the perfect time to splurge and buy yourself something pretty! Come on, you know you want to!

A couple weeks ago, we were shopping at the outlets in Simpsonville and of course had to make a stop in the Kate Spade store there. I almost gave in and purchased these adorable pink sunnies, but quickly changed my mind. Well, not now! I snagged these beauties the moment I saw them listed with sale!

Mommy Mondays; Stroller Thief

Hello Monday, we meet again.... already??!
Is it just me, or do the weekends go by incredibly too fast?! I swear, sometimes it feels like I blink and its back to the work week.
We finally went to the Simpsonville Outlets this past Saturday. My parents were shopping for their upcoming trip to Hawaii and we decided to tag along to do some shopping. Having the sweetest husband in the world that I do, he laid out some serious cash so I could shop. And no, he doesn’t do this for me all the time, my birthday is coming up and this was my gift. So, I did some damage at the J.Crew store; I've always loved their clothes, but recently I have been leaning more towards them when trying to find something new to add to my closet. If I had the money, I would totally redo my entire wardrobe in their clothes, but I would need to hit the lottery for that to happen. LOL
I have to complain for a minute… You knew it was coming from todays title. Of course we took Staley with us; she lounged in her stroller while we went from store to store. Almost every store we went in, the sales people would slyly follow us around as if we were shop lifting! And to top it all off, the security poles went off as we left almost every store; I’ve never been more embarrassed! Any other mom’s deal with this while you’re out shopping with the stroller? Working in retail for nearly a decade, I know there are shop lifters out there and I’ve had to spy and chase down a few of them over the years, but I’ve never followed a mom around the store because she’s pushing a stroller. I was so embarrassed, anyone else feel the same way? Or is it just me?
Ok rant over, I just needed to get that outta my system. It’s been bugging me all weekend. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great week. Stay tuned for more posts later in the week!
Kisses,
The Little Lady

Thrifted Thursday

It's finally Thursday!! That means we're one day closer to the weekend--Thanks goodness!
This past Sunday I celebrated my very first Mother's Day and my husband snapped a couple of pictures of myself and Staley to mark the occasion. I just so happened to be wearing one of my last thrifted finds.
This gorgeous lavender top by Sofia Vergra (Gloria from Modern Family); who knew she had her own clothing line. I fell in love with the color, it's that perfect top to just throw on and walk out the door without having to think too much about what you're wearing. I know I'm going to be wearing this well into the Summer months since its so light weight and airy!

I didn't get the best pictures of this weeks look since I was holding Staley, but its all about her anyway, right!  Of course, I have to feature her adorable look too!
I originally bought her this outfit to wear on Easter, but she was too tiny for it, so I thought it would be perfect for her to wear on Mother's Day. I found it on Etsy, you have to check out this sellers page, she has the cutest things for little girls!

My Outfit Details:
Top (Thrifted-$3.99)
Black Skinnies (Thrifted-$4.99)
Loafers (Bluetique-$10)
Watch (Pandora-Gift)
J.Crew Pave Link Bracelet  (Poshmark-$15)
Total: $33.98

Staley's Outfit
Onesie (Etsy $16)
Leg Warmers & Headband (Etsy $15)
Total: $31

Mommy Monday

I celebrated my very first Mother's Day yesterday. Although, I've always considered myself a mom to my fur babies, now I've officially joined the mommy club!
This little girl has brought so much joy and love into my life; I really didn't know what love was until I had Staley. I think all mom's can agree with me on that.
Staley made me a beautiful Mother's Day card at daycare, I basically burst into tears when her teacher handed it to me. And my sweet husband put together a bag full of my favorite chocolates and a adorable "MOM" frame with Staley's 3 month picture in it for my office. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

I hope every mom had an amazing Mother's Day and got lots of hugs, kisses and snuggles from their babies. I don't think there is anything better!

Outfit Details:
Top (Bluetique)
Skinny Jeans (Jane.com)
Flats (Cato's)
Necklace & Earrings (Ebay)
Ring (Pandora)

Thrifted Thursday

Hello friends!
Anyone else super excited that tomorrow's Friday? This week has been so long and I'm ready for the weekend. Also, to celebrate my very first Mother's Day!!! YAY! Happy early Mother's Day out there to all the wonderful momma's.
Today's look I'm featuring this adorable lavender lace tank. It's so feminine and perfect for spring. I know I'll get plenty of wears out of it. I thought it would be cute to pair it with a striped midi skirt and flats for the office.
By the way, I just want to shout out my husband for being my photographer. He has to put up with me asking him to "take a picture of my outfit" about 3-4 times a week. I don't know what I'd without him.

Outfit Details:
Lavender Tank (Thrifted--$2)
Midi Skirt (Target--$7)
Tassel Necklace (BellaRose--$45)
Black Flats (Payless--$9)
Total: $63

I think this tank will definitely carry me into the Summer and well through Fall;  I already plan to pair it with some dark wash boyfriend jeans.

Kisses,
The Little Lady

Talk about a Statement, Necklace!

Happy Hump day friends, or should I say, May the 4th be with you?!"
Yes, I'm a Stars Wars geek, but who isn't these days...
Anyways, I wanted to show off this gorgeous necklace today! I've had it for years, sadly I don't get to wear it often, but when I do I always get so many compliments. It's definitely a statement necklace!
Since I'm still carrying about 10 pounds of baby weight, anything a little oversized, flowy and made with spandex, I'm a fan of these days- LOL! The first 40 pounds came off so easy, but this last 10 is holding on like glue! Every pound really shows when you're as short as me (4'10)
Any other moms struggling with losing the last of their baby weight?

Outfit Details:
Necklace (Ebay $10)
"C" Bracelet (PennyLuna Boutique $8)
Long Tunic (White Plum $10)
Leggings (Old Navy $10)
Leopard Flats (Payless ($20)
Total: $58

Nothing was thrifted for this look today, but don't forget to check back tomorrow for "Thrifted Thursday!"

Kisses,
The Little Lady

Mommy Mondays

Our sweet Staley turns 3 months old today! Where has the time gone?! It feels just like yesterday that we brought her home and were learning the ins and outs of parenthood. Now, she's in daycare full-time while mommy is back at work, sleeping through the night,  growing like a weed, has the sweetest smile you've ever seen and can make you give her anything she wants all because of those pouty lips.

Becoming a parent was one of the most important, yet hardest decisions my husband and I have ever made together, its something we didn't jump into right after marriage; we both thought it was important for us to spend time together and make sure we financially could afford to care for a child without being strapped. Having a child can be stressful enough without having to worry about money! Now that we're parents, we both agree that this is probably the best thing that's ever happened to us and we couldn't be happier. Parenting may be tough, but our sweet Staley makes it so easy!

Happy Monday Friends!
