Thrifted Thursday--Staley's Look

_______________________________________________________________________________________

Being a mom has been so amazing, especially to this beautiful, bright eyed girl. Staley is full of happiness, laughter and even has a small devilish side, but what toddler doesn't? She loves showing off and being in front of the camera. So, for this week I thought it would be only fitting to feature Staley in this addition of "Thirfted Thursday!" Keep scrolling for more cuteness!

Staley gets more new clothes than I do these days, but while I'm shopping for myself at the local thrift store, I always like to stop by the kids section to see if I can find her something too. Over the last year, I've found so many cute girl clothes, some even new with tags, but I always look for things she can play or eat in and not worry about ruining the outfit.
About a month ago, I found a lot of 10 hair bows all new with tags for only $2! I also found this cute cherry oneis and black pants. Outfits like this are Staley's go to looks for daycare; comfy and cute!

Thrifted Thursday

Hello friends!
Anyone else super excited that tomorrow's Friday? This week has been so long and I'm ready for the weekend. Also, to celebrate my very first Mother's Day!!! YAY! Happy early Mother's Day out there to all the wonderful momma's.
Today's look I'm featuring this adorable lavender lace tank. It's so feminine and perfect for spring. I know I'll get plenty of wears out of it. I thought it would be cute to pair it with a striped midi skirt and flats for the office.
By the way, I just want to shout out my husband for being my photographer. He has to put up with me asking him to "take a picture of my outfit" about 3-4 times a week. I don't know what I'd without him.

Outfit Details:
Lavender Tank (Thrifted--$2)
Midi Skirt (Target--$7)
Tassel Necklace (BellaRose--$45)
Black Flats (Payless--$9)
Total: $63

I think this tank will definitely carry me into the Summer and well through Fall;  I already plan to pair it with some dark wash boyfriend jeans.

Weekend Wrap up

Happy Monday Ya'll! Did everyone have a great weekend? I did, nothing like a nice, quite and relaxing weekend getting things done and lounging at home. I participated in a community resource fair on Saturday; this fair was to help spread awareness to the community of local resources in the area. We had a great turn out and were able to raffle off some pretty cool prizes to just about everyone in attendance.
Nathan and I, also ventured over to Aldi to do some shopping. We were so impressed with the prices of everything and the wide range of products. We came under budget with everything we had on our list, plus more. I even snagged these adorable decorative mirrors for only $10!

Did everyone survive Lilly Sunday? I can't believe the madness at every Target. Unfortunately, I wasn't  able to get anything for myself at the store or online. Everything sold out within minutes. *Sad Face! I'm hoping they will restock, so I can purchase something without having to buy on Ebay for double and triple the cost, crazy right! I've linked some other Lilly items that I've had my eye on for a while. Maybe one day my cheap side will cave and I can purchase one of these!

Fashion Fridays (For Less!)

Playing dress up is one my favorite parts of the day! Beautiful skirts, jewelry and don't even get me started about BOLD PRINTS and crazy colors! I believe that life is all about standing out and what better way for you to turn a couple heads than with your clothes. I love trying out different and bold patterns, but sometimes that can get pricey! Fashion doesn't always have to be expensive, shop sales and be adventurous with your fashion hunt; one of favorite places to shop is the thrift store! It can save you tones of money and you can find some great pieces, just don't be afraid to look!

Here's this weeks Fashion Friday (For Less!)
Black Converse Dress Tee: $6 from Target

Leopard Print Midi: $3 from Goodwill

Black Pumps: $15 from Bluetique

"C" Script necklace: $8 from Bluetique

Gold knot studs: $10 from Calypso

My entire look was less than $45 and I feel great in it! The skirt of course is my favorite part (anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE skirts and animal prints!) I hardly buy anything full price anymore! Everything listed was purchase during a sale or thrifted.

I would love to see what looks you guys come up with & if you go thrifting I would love to see what you purchased! Remember, be adventurous with your fashion!
Have a great Mother's Day weekend everyone!
