Thrifted Thursday-- The Basic Leopard

____________________________________________________________________________________

Happy Thrifted Thursday! You know what the means, one more day till the WEEKEND!! I always make this plan to spend the entire day at home, relax and spend time with family, but we end up going non stop every time and feel like we should have a long weekend from our weekend. Right?!!
Tonight, Nathan and I are going to see Highly Suspect at Manchester Music Hall in Lexington. This was a very last minute decision, I won tickets on Tuesday and couldn't pass up the chance to see an amazing band and meet them! Yes, I also won meet and greet tickets! :)

Now, on to this weeks Thrifted Thursday look. I call this the "basic Leopard". I love looks like this, its simple, relaxed and there's absolutely no thought needed; its one of those, throw it on and get the crap outta the house looks. LOL
If you know me well, then you know I'm obsessed with leopard print, I'm a sucker for anything with this print. So when I found this basic, cotton, leopard print tee, I knew it had to be mine. I paired it with a pair of jean leggings and two tone flats that were also thrifted; both which I have worn the life out of since finding them.

Outfit Details:
Leopard Tee// Goodwill // $3
Jean Leggings// Goodwill // $5
Two Tone Flats// Poshmark // $8
Tassell Necklace// J.Crew // $15
Denim Cross Body // Kate Spade Outlet // $85
Total: 116

I've linked some of my other favorite leopard print tee's below! Happy Shopping! :)

Thrifted Thursday--Staley's Look

_______________________________________________________________________________________

Being a mom has been so amazing, especially to this beautiful, bright eyed girl. Staley is full of happiness, laughter and even has a small devilish side, but what toddler doesn't? She loves showing off and being in front of the camera. So, for this week I thought it would be only fitting to feature Staley in this addition of "Thirfted Thursday!" Keep scrolling for more cuteness!

Staley gets more new clothes than I do these days, but while I'm shopping for myself at the local thrift store, I always like to stop by the kids section to see if I can find her something too. Over the last year, I've found so many cute girl clothes, some even new with tags, but I always look for things she can play or eat in and not worry about ruining the outfit.
About a month ago, I found a lot of 10 hair bows all new with tags for only $2! I also found this cute cherry oneis and black pants. Outfits like this are Staley's go to looks for daycare; comfy and cute!

Outfit Details:
Cherry oneis: $1.59//Goodwill
Black Pants $1.59//Goodwill
Pink Bow $.20
Sneakers $25//Target
 Total: $28.38

Thrifted Thursday; Blues and Bows

Welcome back friends! We had some major storms last night in Kentucky. Whenever there is a threat for thunder storms with tornado warnings, I get so nervous and can't sit down; I'm constantly running to the windows to look outside. I don't know if its just me, but every single time we have a severe storm, I actually think its going to be just like the movie, "Twister". Don't ask, I don't know why.

Anyways, lets talk about this weeks "Thrifted Thursday", nothing but blue skies in these pictures. ;) One of my favorite clothing items to wear are button down shirts. I probably have 10+ in my closet in different patterns, prints and colors. There just perfect to throw on with jeans or dress up with a skirt.
For this particular look, I paired this cotton blue plaid button down with my favorite skinny jeans and a adorable pair of yellow pep toe bow flats, that my mom actually thrifted!

Outfit Details:
Lands End Blue & White Button Down // Goodwill $4
Anne Klien Flex Yellow Bow Flats // Goodwill $4
Vintage Aigner Crossbody // Poshmark $9
Yellow Statement Earrings // Jane $2
Jean Leggings // Style & Co $25

Total cost: $44

I'll be wearing those adorable bow flats all summer long; thanks mom!
As you know, this is my thrifted look for the week so everything I linked below are similar options, except for my jeans!

Thrifted Thursday

Happy Thursday!!

I haven't posted a #ThriftedThursday in a while. Being a mom and working full-time, can sometimes over whelms us and there's not much else we have time for; so that pile of laundry will just have to wait, right! ;)

So I'm excited to get back to posting, this by far is my favorite theme to post about! Being the avid thriftier that I am, I love being able to show off head to toe looks that may look expensive, but cost me less than $20!
Since Kentucky is still experiencing warm weather, I wanted to get as much wear out of this perfect throw on tee shirt dress from Banana Republic. It's super comfy and perfect to dress up or down. I added an oversize cardigan that I thrifted a couple years ago and paired it with this gorgeous floral scarf and my favorite thrift find...Tom's Desert Booties, that were brand new with tags!!! I've worn these things to death since I found them.

Outfit Details:
Old Navy Oversized Cardigan $5
Banana Republic Tee Shirt Dress $4
Floral Scarf $1
Tom's Wedge Booties $4
--------------------------
Total: $14!

I've linked very similar options below of my entire look!
Stay strong, the weekend is almost here!

Thrifted Thursday; White and Black

About two weeks ago, while quickly thumbing through racks at Goodwill on my lunch break, I came across about 5 tops grouped together;  someone had to have donated them especially for me! In the bunch, was this darling white, peter pan collared top; I instantly fell in love. It's definitely something I wouldn't normally pick for myself, but the cute collar and white checkered pattern really spoke to me. After all, that's what Goodwill is all about for me, trying out new things I would have never  bought for myself!

Outfit Details:
Top (GW $4)
Shorts (Bargain Hunt $3)
Flats (Payless $20)
Purse (Kate Spade $198)

Thrifted Thursday; Courtney Bib {Part 2}

Welcome back fellow thrifting friends!
I've had a this annoying cold and cough for the last month; over the weekend the cough just took over! I sound like I've smoked 3 packs a day for the last 10 years. (I don't smoke, by the way!) because of my constant hacking I didn't manage to snap any outfit pictures this week. So, I thought it would be nice to post how I styled my most recent jewelry obsession; the Courtney Bib in rose gold.
If you read my last "Thrifted Thursday" then you already know I scored this piece for CHEAP! I've been wearing it several times a week ever since; it will definitely be a jewelry staple of mine from now on.

With Staley in the photos, you really just forget all about the necklace, right! :) Any chance I get to show her off, I'm taking it. After all, she's my favorite accessory.

Hopefully, I can get this cough under control and get back to posting my thrifted finds. I've found some great pieces lately that I can't wait to show them off.

One more day to the weekend!

Kisses,
The Little Lady

Thrifted Thursday; Courtney Bib

I recently "thrifted" this Baublebar Courtney Bib necklace for only $15 on EBay! Needless to say, I was super excited no one had snatched it up yet. I've been eyeing this necklace for so long, but could never commit to paying over $60 just for one necklace. After all, this girl has to stick to a budget!
I can't wait to style it with different outfits; I know I'm going to get plenty of wear out it, well worth the $15!
Also, shown is a couple of my recent jewelry finds that I've also been loving for the last few weeks.

Happy Thursday Friends!

Thrifted Thursday; Bright & Bold

Happy Thursday everyone!
I'm so glad it's almost the weekend, this has been such a long week. I think the sudden heat wave we've been having makes it feel so much longer. I know I'll be lounging in the pool all weekend long!

Today's look is this darling, bright yellow skirt I found at my local Goodwill. I thought it was too cute to pass up. My husband says it reminds him of something a teacher would wear because of the print. I'm gonna call this my European skirt.

I love being able to wear different things that I know most people won't wear. Any piece I can find that makes me feel comfortable and confident is always a winner!

Outfit Details:
Blank Tee (Old Navy $8)
European Skirt (Thrifted $4)
Flats (Payless $20)
Total: $32

Thrifted Thursday

It's finally Thursday!! That means we're one day closer to the weekend--Thanks goodness!
This past Sunday I celebrated my very first Mother's Day and my husband snapped a couple of pictures of myself and Staley to mark the occasion. I just so happened to be wearing one of my last thrifted finds.
This gorgeous lavender top by Sofia Vergra (Gloria from Modern Family); who knew she had her own clothing line. I fell in love with the color, it's that perfect top to just throw on and walk out the door without having to think too much about what you're wearing. I know I'm going to be wearing this well into the Summer months since its so light weight and airy!

I didn't get the best pictures of this weeks look since I was holding Staley, but its all about her anyway, right!  Of course, I have to feature her adorable look too!
I originally bought her this outfit to wear on Easter, but she was too tiny for it, so I thought it would be perfect for her to wear on Mother's Day. I found it on Etsy, you have to check out this sellers page, she has the cutest things for little girls!

My Outfit Details:
Top (Thrifted-$3.99)
Black Skinnies (Thrifted-$4.99)
Loafers (Bluetique-$10)
Watch (Pandora-Gift)
J.Crew Pave Link Bracelet  (Poshmark-$15)
Total: $33.98

Staley's Outfit
Onesie (Etsy $16)
Leg Warmers & Headband (Etsy $15)
Total: $31

Thrifted Thursday

Hello friends!
Anyone else super excited that tomorrow's Friday? This week has been so long and I'm ready for the weekend. Also, to celebrate my very first Mother's Day!!! YAY! Happy early Mother's Day out there to all the wonderful momma's.
Today's look I'm featuring this adorable lavender lace tank. It's so feminine and perfect for spring. I know I'll get plenty of wears out of it. I thought it would be cute to pair it with a striped midi skirt and flats for the office.
By the way, I just want to shout out my husband for being my photographer. He has to put up with me asking him to "take a picture of my outfit" about 3-4 times a week. I don't know what I'd without him.

Outfit Details:
Lavender Tank (Thrifted--$2)
Midi Skirt (Target--$7)
Tassel Necklace (BellaRose--$45)
Black Flats (Payless--$9)
Total: $63

I think this tank will definitely carry me into the Summer and well through Fall;  I already plan to pair it with some dark wash boyfriend jeans.

Kisses,
The Little Lady
