Mommy Monday

I celebrated my very first Mother's Day yesterday. Although, I've always considered myself a mom to my fur babies, now I've officially joined the mommy club!
This little girl has brought so much joy and love into my life; I really didn't know what love was until I had Staley. I think all mom's can agree with me on that.
Staley made me a beautiful Mother's Day card at daycare, I basically burst into tears when her teacher handed it to me. And my sweet husband put together a bag full of my favorite chocolates and a adorable "MOM" frame with Staley's 3 month picture in it for my office. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

I hope every mom had an amazing Mother's Day and got lots of hugs, kisses and snuggles from their babies. I don't think there is anything better!

Shorts Weather

Summer has begun! It finally warm enough to wear shorts, I usually don't like to wear shorts, but these red gingham ones are too cute to keep in the closet!

More Stripes Please

Happy Monday Ya'll!
This Saturday was a day for the records books! Not only did American Pharoah break the 37 year drought and snag the coveted triple crown, but Nathan and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary. Our anniversary was earlier in the week, but we were finally able to celebrate this weekend. I was treated to a lovely dinner at Malone's. I probably ate my weight in sushi!
This was my dinner look. I paired a striped peplum with this gorgeous, textured midi that I have been dying to wear from Bluetique

Weekend Lookbook

This past weekend was filled with quick wore-robe changes! Between work, weddings, movie dates and NFL games, this weekend was nothing but go, go, go!
Here's a quick look at what I wore and pictures from the weekend!
Friday's look day/night
Bleed Blue Jumpsuit from Bluetique
Movie Date Look
Blazer (found at Goodwill) paired with a Foo Fighters tee
and grey skinny jean/leggings from Beadsbee Boutique on Jane
Saturday's Look
Perfect wedding attire & UK dress from Bluetique
Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of my outfit for the game, but you get the idea; skinny's & my favorite NFL players jersey on my back, Pat McAfee from the Colts!

How was your weekend!

The Little Lady

Emerald Boho

Finally tore the tags off this dress today! I've been debating on keeping it because when I originally purchased it from Bluetique (my favorite store on the planet)  months ago during one of their huge sales I realized it was too big and couldn't be returned. Needless to say I never pass up a great fashion deal!
So last night, deciding what to wear for today I decided to through care to wind and rip the tags off and wear it!

I know this is supposed a more fitted dress, but I actually like how flowy and lose it is!  It gives it that carefree, boho vibe. Although, that's not really my style, so I decided to dress it up just a tab with a dressy tank and black flats for work; gold jewelry to set everything off.

I think anyone could pull this look off with a oversize dress that's similar and if the boho feel is for you, then pair with a flower head band and you're good to go!

OOTD--Flower Power

I had to blog about this gorgeous blouse that I purchased from Bluetique; it has a groovy/funky feel to it, but with a more modern twist. I love it, I usually pair it with skinny jeans, but I recently purchased this darling little peach midi from Jane that I thought the blouse would look great with.
None of the colors actually match the peach in the skirt, but I just love how the whole outfit looks together. Just because it doesn't match, doesn't mean you still can't wear it. I've never played by any fashion rules, I have always just worn what I love!
Sadly, neither retailer still carries either of these pieces anymore, but I highly suggest you check out both. They always have great items and my closet is filled with pieces from both!

What are you guys wearing today?

50% off at Bluetique

My favorite store on earth to shop is Bluetieque Cheap Chic. They are small boutique, specializing in trendy young women's clothing. They have a couple of stores in Kentucky and  few others in surrounding states. I'll post their website below if you want to take a look; and right now I highly suggest you do! Everything is 50% off, in store and online. If you shop online just enter SPRINGFLING50 at check out and it will take the discount off. The sale is only good starting today, April 27th through Wednesday April 30th, so take advantage now!

Of course, I went in the store to shop as soon as I found out about the sale! Check out what I came out with all for about $70!
Cute crop top! It's more of a regular shirt on me since I'm so short!
Flower kimono. I love the lace trim at the bottom.
This is my favorite piece! I love the KY blue and the belt makes the outfit!
If you enjoy trendy clothing as much as I do, then you will love Bluetique.
Thanks for visting!
